Bio: Hey there! I am currently a graduate research/teaching assistant in the Instructional Technology program at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. After completing my BS in Middle Grades Education from NC State University in May 2005 I stepped into the classroom at an independent Quaker school called Carolina Friends School in Durham, North Carolina where I taught math, music, and technology in the middle school. Since 2002 I have been an avid presenter at annual education conferences on topics including technology integration, middle school education, emerging technologies, social networking and diversity. I have an eclectic range of interests that include: anything Apple, technology integration (Web 2.0, web design, Google, Moodle), education (math, language arts, social studies, music, technology, critical pedagogy), music (piano, chorus, ukulele, showtunes), travel (beach, well anywhere really), spirituality, American History (speechwriting, presidents, supreme court), reading voraciously, and yoga.
